At Taste of Africa, we have a Farm Stall, the Baobab Kitchen & Café, and we do wholesales, markets, and Internet sales. At the time of writing, our plans for the year are not yet finalized. We promise to keep you updated, regarding cancellations or changes with short notice on our answering service 0291-610 25. If you want to shop at the Farm Stall at a different time - please let us know!

April - May - June

* The Farm Stall will be open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, at 10 - 16, starting from April 30 until October. Exceptions, please see ’Closed days’ below or call our answering service (0291-610 25).

* In May, we receive our new shipment from Africa with exciting things! We will also open up a new section of the Farm Stall - the Stable, which will double the size of the shop. Welcome and enjoy it!

* The Internet shop is open for orders 7 days a week.
Because this is a very busy time in our Farmstall, Baobab Kitchen & Café, we may not get time to send you a quotation immediately. When we receive your order, we respond with a quotation showing your total cost, including postage. After your payment we will post your order within 7 days. If it is urgent, please call us!

*May 21 - Baobab Kitchen & Café opens for the season (May-Oct).

Baobab Café is open when the shop is, starting from May 21 (Friday,Saturday & Sunday, at 10-16). In our Café, you can enjoy hot & cold drinks, and our African baking. Our speciality is potjiebread & moist cakes, baked over fire in cast iron pots. Call before to order your own ’takehome’ bread, apple muffins, or cakes.

Baobab Kitchen is our outdoor kitchen. Get your family or friends together! Celebrate somebody’s birthday or bring your colleagues to this heart-warming and relaxing experience, where you will learn to cook and bake over a fire in African cast-iron pots. Bookings are essential, for 10 -25 persons, day or evening.
