Calendar 2013

At Taste of Africa, we have a Farm Stall, the Baobab Kitchen & Café, and we do markets, and Internet sales. At the time of writing, our plans for the year are not yet finalized. We promise to keep you updated, regarding changes with short notice on our answering service 0291-610 25. If you want to shop at the Farm Stall at a different time - please let us know!

January-February-March

* The Internet shop is open for orders.
Our Internet shop is a service to our customers. Instead of closing when our office is relocating to South Africa in the winter, there will be slightly longer times of delivery. Please allow two weeks from the time that you place an order until you receive it. As soon as we see your order, we give you a quotation via email. You can speed up the process by sending us an email to acknowledge your bank deposit. Thanks and welcome with your order!

* You can book Baobab Kitchen already now. Something to look forward to in the winter perhaps?! We had a fantastic season during 2012 and we are longing to open again. Thanks to all of you that came for the first time & all of you that came back. The moments with you in Baobab Kitchen are enriching our lives. Thanks!

* In mid-March we receive our new shipment from Africa. This time, we packed in wonderful ceramics, handmade textiles, spices, soap, beadwork & necklaces and much more ... Our shop will open for Easter! We’re so sorry, our shipment has been delayed! It’s seems hesitant about spring, just like the migrating birds. Taste of Africa Gårdsbutik & Café will open on 12-13-14 april! See below!

April - May - June

* 12-13-14 April, Taste of Africa Farmstall & Café will open for the season. Take a trip to us! We are open Fri-Sun at 10-16. Enjoy a coffee in the spring sun & look at the new products in the shop. During spring, summer and autumn, we are open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, at 10 - 16, nearly all the weekends. For exceptions, please see ’Closed days April- June’ below, or call our answering service (0291-610 25). We accept bank cards.

* In our Baobab Café, we serve hot & cold drinks and our African baking outdoors under a tin roof, or on the lawn. During the chilly days of spring & autumn, we have warming fires. Our bread & all cakes are home baked over fire in African cast iron pots.

* 12-13-14 April Taste of Africa Farm Stall & Café is open 10-16.

*12 April - Baobab Kitchen opens for day groups & 9 May we open for evening groups.

Baobab Kitchen is our outdoor kitchen. Get your family or friends together! Celebrate somebody’s birthday or bring your colleagues to this heart-warming and relaxing experience, where you will learn to cook and bake over a fire in African cast-iron pots. Bookings are essential, for 10 -25 persons, day or evening.

* The Internet shop is open for orders.
During busy periods in our Farmstall, Baobab Kitchen & Café, we may not have the time to send you a quotation immediately. When we receive your order, we respond with a quotation showing your total cost, including postage. After your payment we will post your order within 7 days. If it is urgent, please call us!

* Baobab Kitchen is open until 6 October

Taste of Africa Farm Stall is open for Christmas on two weekends: 22-23-24 November at 10-16 and 29-30 November & 1 December at 10-16. Enjoy the warmth of Africa in a comfortable environment without stress and long queues. If you are looking for a personal Christmas gift, carefully selected, you will find it here. We serve our own bushtea-glögg. A warm welcome!

* 7-8 December, we are at Christmas market at Hedvigs Trädgård, kl. 10-16.
